Would it please be possible to advise how to add text (or an image containing text) to the header of a .pdf using only Acrobat Reader?
I work in an organisation where the default .pdf software is Acrobat Reader 8 and it would be difficult to rollout supplementary software to staff.
I need to find a way to allow colleagues to add a few words to the header of certain .pdf documents detailing the sensitivity of the material contained within.
Not with Reader alone no.
If you had Acrobat, I suppose you could add a form field to the top of the PDF then enable it so Reader users can fill in the field then save the changes...
