Hi, I'm looking to write an export plug-in.
I'd like to be able to transfer my files over wifi when I export. I can write a program to handle all the tranfer, I just need to write an export plug-in that starts my program, then then tells it what files to send (either by parameter or a txt file). It this possible, are there any examples of this? I would think the plug-in would be fairly straightforward.
Put a shortcut to your app in the Export Actions folder.
Thanks, are there any examples you could point me to? It seems like what I'm looking for isn't a very big deal.
If the plugin is just for you, then an export action to start the app is AOK. However, if anyone else will be using it then you may want to have the plugin itself start the external app - plugin can pass parameters to the app too.
There is source code for starting the external app, as well as for creating the to-do list (text file) here.
(maybe start with operating-system:execute-command in the framework folder of source/svn)
For simplest case, to-do list could just be a list of paths. For fancier stuff you can use XML...
