Run nVidia control panel and go to 3D settings. Click the Manage 3D settings option and at the Program Settings tab click Add.
Locate Premiere.exe and click it.
Below, at the Multi-Display/Mixed-GPU Acceleration option, click Compatibility Performance Mode and click Apply.
Does anyone know that the above step is supposed to accomplish. I forgot to do it with my 460, but all seems to be working fine anyway.
i have to admit I'm just guessing..but it sounds like SLI stuff for gaming ??
I have these settings at: Use global settings (multiple display performancce)
Yeah, the "global setting" doesn't seem to impact the performance of MPE. That's why I was wondering if anyone knew what that specific step of the hack was supposed to achieve.
