I've been trying to install CS5 Master Edition. Disk I installed and I was asked to install disk II which it installed until 51%. Then it asked me to "please insert Disk CS5 Master Collection II to continue and it does not read the disk. I am running Windows Vista Premium Edition, I have 4 GB of Ram and 108 GB disk space available. I checked disk II and it is clean so it should work.
If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them. I have work to complete this weekend.
By your wording it is not clear whether you began installation of disk 2 and it reached 51 percent and THEN it asked
you for disk 2 again, or if you installed disk1 up to 51 percent and THEN it asked you to install disk 2. Please clarify.
That is correct - I began installation of disk 2 and it reached 51 percent and THEN it asked me for disk 2 again.
Create a folder on your hard drive and see if you can use WinExplorer to copy all of the disc to that folder, and run from the folder
Or, use the free http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to create an ISO and then use Imgburn to write that ISO to a blank disc
If WinExp and/or Imgburn won't read the disc... you'll need to call Adobe for a replacement
