Suppose you mean "steams via RTMFP"?
If so, the answer is yes, with the following to mind:
-the most advanced audio encoder in FP (and AIR) is Speex, which is mono optimized for voice (not music); to stream mp3 or aac you may need FMS4
-expect bigger live delays (peers as compared to seed and peers amongst each-other) than most server-client streaming; a bigger buffer is needed to assemble pieces from various sources and keep the stream running at the same time
thank you, I am testing now the FMS Developer edition, I wish they would allow server side code in the streaming server.
At least a very limited amount.
what about using a prerecorded mp3 instread of a live encoded audio source ?
