[PE9] How do I achieve my desired bit rate?

    catalyst99

      Hi,

I would like for my video to have a bit rate of roughly 1.5 mbps. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get anywhere near. My last attempt with the setings below rendered the video at 247kbps.

      Basic Video Settings

      Codec: MainConcept MPEG Video

      Quality: 5

      TV Standard: NTSC

      Frame Width: 720

      Frame Height: 480

      Frame Rate: 29.97

      Display Format: Drop Frame

      Field Order: Lower

      Pixel aspect ratio: Widescreen 16:9

      Render at maximum depth: Checked

      Bitrate settings

      Bitrate encoding: VBR 2 pass

      Minimum bitrate: 1.5 mbps

      Target bitrate: 1.5 mbps

      Maximum bitrate: 2 mbps

      GOP settings

      M frames: 3

      N frames: 15

      ----------------------------------------------------

      Your help would be appreciated.

      Many thanks,

      David
