    Photos won't open in PE8?

    dphoto11

I'm trying to open up a few photos to work on them in Photoshop Elements 8, and they are JPEG but they will not open no matter what way i try to open them up. I have Photoshop Elements open, and I try to open them by File>>Open>> (and then i choose the picture) but i click Select and photoshop just remains blank? Anyone help?

          4) Make sure you can see the hidden files and folders on your computer.

Go to Hidden Files & Folders.

          5) Go to My Computer or Computer and follow this path:

          C: > Users > [user name] > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Photoshop Elements > x.0 > Editor > Adobe Photoshop Elements x.0 Prefs.psp

          6) Right click on the Adobe Photoshop Elements x.0 Prefs.psp, and select Delete.

A new preferences file is created the next time you start Photoshop Elements.
