In Adobe Acrobat and in Reader, how does the user go back to original page after clicking on a hyperlink? There is no Back button in Acrobat, and the Backspace key doesn't work.
Thanks...couldn't find an answer in Forum archives.
Alt + left-arrow (assuming you're linking within the same file, such as via a bookmark or cross-reference)
I am linking within the same PDF, but Alt + back arrow isn't working....it just goes nowhere. Additional Info that might be relevant: these links were created within Madcap Flare. The PDF is the generated output from Flare. Thank you!
Use the actual arrows, not the ones on the number-pad.
I'm doing that, but either nothing happens or sometimes it takes me to the
first page of the document...never back to the page from whence I came.
Maybe I should re-post in the Flare forum...could be something with Flare's links?
Try if it works when you click the Previous View icon (an arrow facing left
inside a blue circle).
Doh...big forehead slap! I was pressing Ctrl+left arrow, not Alt+left arrow. Thank you for your help!
