I'd like to load many small modules using the ModuleManager class however I've noticed that the modules don't inherit the styles of the parent app.
You can compile the style into each module to get round this but this is obviously not ideal.
In contrast when you use the brand new Hero SDK Module and ModuleLoader classes the module inherits the parent apps style, embedded fonts etc without declaring any style information in the compiled module.
How can I make the module loaded with the ModuleManager to do the same ?
As of Flex 4 the IModuleInfo.load() function has a new parameter, moduleFactory. Make sure you are passing the moduleFactory of the application loading the module.
Thanks Darrell. That worked a treat.
For anyone using modules I'd recommend taking a look at the new Spark Module and ModuleLoader classes in the Hero BETA SDK (Nov 2010 build). You don't need the whole SDK ( which requires FP10.2 ). These classes work fine when included into projects compiled with Flex SDK 4.0
