I have wriiten a testing agent to automate flex. When I try to automate (playback an event) a textInput or any other object within a Modal window(not the main app. The modal window belongs to the main app), I get this exception saying "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation".
How can I correct this? I do not know what the issue is.
The issue occurs only while playing back actions for objects inside the modal window. The same control can be automated if they are in the main app.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is this a .NET or Flex error you are getting?
This is an Error shown by the .Net component when it tries to call the flex function.
I do not know if Flex has thrown this error, which is then rethrown by .Net or .Net itself has thrown this error, as the software is running in production environment (cannot debug).
However, calling this function on Main App components works while calling this function on the modal window compononents does not.
Calling this function on the modal window itself works, however. Its only the components inside the window that are throwing this error.
