    Adobe's Domain Policies driving me bananas & I need help Pls @Look@

      I'm trying to connect to a socket server on port 1234 but I"m not being successful. I've tried private and public IP same issue.

      I've set up a socket policy file server listening to port 843 - the server's logs indicate the Flash player is connecting with the server but I always get Sandbox violation errors.

      I'm trying to access a socket server with:

      var socket:Socket = new Socket();

      socket.connect(

      "192.168.3.61",1234);

      socket.addEventListener(Event.CONNECT,connectHandler);

      the policy that I'm trying to return is: <allow-access-from domain="*" to ports="*"/>

      FYI I've also tried Adboe test socket server, with the same results.

      Thanks for any help or guidance!!!
