Hello. I bought Photoshop elements maybe 5 years ago and have loved it and used it nearly daily. My computer died and the place I took it to was unable to fix it. I bought another computer and ran my online backup. I was able to recover all the photos, but the program didn't come back. Im not great with computers and don't know if I'm out of luck since I no longer have the cd's it came on. I'd hate to have to spend the money to get it again. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. The hardrive of my old computer is ok for the most part (it's just not in the computer).Thank you.
i am very angry because I paid 600;00 for Photo shop.... and because I have a new computer.... they feel I need to buy an new program. That just blows my mind. That such a huge company....cannot understand what GOOD Customer Service is.... I also tried Element trying to put it for my cameral that was less than a year old and it wont work.... ADOBE sucks..... and I am angry. They are not stupid... and they know they have a good product.... But mark my words... it won't last... in this business.Someone will have a better product... and ADOBE will go down the tubes..
Well, it's definitely possible to move Adobe software between computers for free (Windows or Mac), but you do need to have access to your original installation disk or download via your Adobe account.
