How to make InDesign Display Frames Being Built in Real Time (AS, CS5)

    mlavie Level 1

I am using CS5 and AS.

I have a large, complex AS module which builds all sorts of frames on a new InDesign Page. The problem is that the I would like users to see all the frames being created in real-time. Unfortunately, nothing happens on the screen until the entire process is done and control is returned to the Extensions panel which calls the Page Builder module - and then they only see the finished product, and not the build process which created it. The build process takes a few mionutes, and I want my users to see that something is going on in the meantime.

How do I accopmlish this in CS5?

      TIA,

      mlavie
