You only install an nVidia driver if you have an nVidia card
What is the EXACT brand AND model card you have?
As John T. points out, everything will depend on what your video card/chip is. In Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager (or similar Path), you should find your display adapter. By clicking on that, you will find the make/model. Then, in the Advanced tab, you will find your driver info.
You do NOT want to install an nVidea, or ATI driver, if you have, say an Intel graphics chip. Video drivers are specific to make and model, and then often to the OS. One needs just the right one.
