    site without www.  in Safari/IE5

    Level 7
A customer has a website that is working well (www.acmepixel.com) in all
      browsers.

But, if you go to acmepixel.com (without the www) using Safari or IE 5
Mac, then the images on the home page don't show up.

It seems like something someone here would have run into before. Anyone
know what the solution is? I'm guessing it's an Apache issue.

It's strange. I see the same thing in IE6/FF on the PC.

I have no explanation for it, Chris.

Trying to access one of your images directly, I get this error message:
            "FORBIDDEN
You don't have permission to access /topmedia/clicktoenterb.jpg on this
            server."

Your hosting configuration is screwed up somehow -- the directory topmedia
is forbidden except when the www is included.

You need to talk to your host.

              Sonjay,

You were right on the money. It was a permissions problem.

              Thanks,

              Chris
