I'm a little confused. Does Premiere Pro have a way to show the Date/Time stamp? I though no.
Thanks Jim !
in the rushes window there is the "creation date" but it is not the correct one. is there any correction (summer time and winter time ?)
Premier Pro does show the date if you select "Data" as an additional metadata display in the top right-hand-corner drop-down in the Project Window. It's not the default setting. However, metadata editing is not a facilty within Premiere Pro that I know about.
Even the information that is editable in Bridge is limited to the more mundate details.
Whilst there may be 3rd pary EXIF editors, I once heard it rumoured that, because of security/ evidence/ legal reasons, it is not easy to alter the date created.
If you use Scenalyzer to capture from mini-DV, it will automatically add the date- and timestamp to each file name when you use scene detection. That may solve your issue. Look here: www.scenalyzer.com
There are two versions:
ScenalyzerLive which you have to buy (or trialversion with watermark) and Scenalyzer which is freeware.
