I am in the process of creating a large 100+ minute HD slideshow using Premiere Elements 9 and I wanted to use the Pan and Zoom Instant Movie feature and discovered that it has a 15 minute limit. After I change the Instant Movie parameters, including setting the duration to "Use All Clips", and press Apply, I receive a dialog box that says there is a 15 minute limit. Is this new? I don't recall running into this limitation in the past. I guess I could create seperate smaller projects and then combine them though I wanted to avoid the loss of video quality I suspect would result in processing the video twice. I see some folks have recommended exporting to DV-AVI for combining projects but does that recommendation also apply to HD 1080 video?
Thanks in advance for yout help.
Not sure about a "time limit," but to Export/Share in segments, to be treated with Instant Movie, and then re-assembled, you might look into something like the Lagarith Lossless CODEC, which is free.
Others might have a better workaround, than segmenting your Project.
