I often bring two or more images into ACR, expand each to 100%, and then toggle between/among them to compare acuity. Unfortunately as each is selected there is a 1/2 second or so delay to re-render the image, even though the 100% sticks. I would think after the first pass the 100% rendered image would stay in cache and no delay would be required to re-display. Am I missing a setting somewhere to enable quick A-B comparisons in ACR?
I can reproduce this, but it gets even worse: There's an initial low resolution display (much fuzzier and full of artifacts), then the final rendering replaces it. In some cases I see the image jump during the initial low resolution display.
I see the same thing, neglected to describe the low resolution initial display.
