1. Re: Trouble moving site to new hard drive
L Hickle Jan 3, 2011 11:45 AM (in response to L Hickle)I do want to add that I know where the physical template is stored; it got copied over with the rest of the site. It just doesn't seem to be available for new pages for some reason. The old pages still seem to be accessing it okay.

bregent Jan 3, 2011 12:12 PM (in response to L Hickle)In order to import a site definition to a new computer/OS, you must first export it on the old one. If that's no longer possible, then you simply need to recreate the site definition in the site manager. This should only take a minute or two provided you have all of the remote connection info.

4. Re: Trouble moving site to new hard drive
L Hickle Jan 3, 2011 12:48 PM (in response to bregent)That fixed the template problem, thanks!
The website is still at its original location, but I can now properly edit it from my Leopard drive. There's nothing wrong with the original hard drive, so that should be workable.
Now if, in the future, I should decide to actually "move" the site to the Leopard drive, will that mess up anything? I have been careful to use relative links rather than exact-path links just in case ...
