    Text Captions Width Control

How do I specify and lock the width of any caption boxes ?

I want all captions to default to and remain a predefined width, with the words wrapping onto new lines if appropriate when typing.

      Thanks.

          Iain.

First thing to check is to make sure that you have Autosize Captions turned off (you may also want to turn off Calculate Caption Timing off). These options can be found on the Options menu and will prevent Captivate from auto changing the caption sizes for you based on the amount of text.

What we like to do to ensure that our captions are all the same size and location (if that is the desired intent)m is to create a caption that meets our needs on a blank slide and then copy/paste that caption to other slides that we want to be the same.
