License issues for embedding the Adobe reader OCX in MFC dialog

    anandSiemens

      Hi,
We are developing a software in which small dialog(MFC based) will host the Adobe OCX control to show the contents of PDF file.

We have used Adobe reader OCX (web) with class ID 0xCA8A9780, 0x280D, 0x11CF, { 0xA2, 0x4D, 0x44, 0x45, 0x53, 0x54, 0x0, 0x0} } wrapped in MFC window class and embedded the window in the dialog.

      My questions are:
      1. Is it valid ( with respect to Adobe reader license agreement) to embded the Adobe OCX in my own dialog based application?
(note : I am using Adobe reader (version 8.3).

      2. One of the online post in codeproject.com indicated that the OCX is available in Visual Studio and hence, can be embedded in dialog based application. I wanted a confirmation on this.

      Thanks,

      Anand
