I think there is a cancelable SELECTION_CHANGING event.
Thanks for your reply. Yes I guess I could do event.preventDefault() from the List components "changing" event. But how do I know wether the button was clicked or somewhere else on the itemrenderer (ie. prevent selection when only button is clicked)? The event.currentTarget will always be the list component.
You could also try stopImmediatePropagation on the button events.
If you use the "changing" event, there should be a preceding MOUSE_DOWN from
the button itself, or you may be able to introspect the button's
Calling stopImmediatePropagation on the MouseDown event of the button did the trick That prevents the row to be selected. No need to use the changing event of the List component.
