Six core Intrl Processor and 24 gig ram. Right now I have the size set to 128K. I was also wondering whether 512 would be a little better. Thanks for the link and answer. Roman

Harm Millaard Jan 12, 2011 1:22 PM (in response to Rkenosha)If you can set it to 256 K that may be your best solution, 512K looks a bit large, since a number of preview, media cache and data base files are often changed and the larger the block size, the lower the IOP's, but try different settings and check them with HDTach or ATTO to see what it does to your burst and transfer rates.
