You want to implement buttons that when click act as a virtual keyboard, or the whole app with the list, that responds to the typing?
I want to write same app, but first problem is, how to resolve problem with keyboard.
So yes, button with event "show virtual keyboard", I don't know how to add it.
Really thanks for your help!

If you run your application on an Android device, when you click in a TextInput or TextArea, this should bring up the soft (virtual) keyboard. Have you created a Mobile Project in Flash Builder? When you run a mobile application on the desktop emulator, we don't show the keyboard.
Programmatically bringing up the soft keyboard when running on an Android device isn't supported in the Burrito pre-release. This functionality might be in the release.
yes, I checked only by the emulator,, and there I could write in the textarea, unfortunetly I don't have android so i couldn't check on the mobile,,,
so if possible could you give me any hints how to play music/ working on files, or any examples where to search?
Thank you very much for your reply!
IN my case, keyboard is popup in simulator but not in my real Samsung i9000 device
What's the problem ?
what simulator do you use?
I used Android SDK and AVD Manager.
It's ok. But not ok in Samsung
