Hi,
Is there a way to keep the file name of an image file from being displayed when the cursor is rolled over the image?
I'm using RoboHelp 8.
Thanks

Hi Rick,
I checked out the link you sent and I tried deleting the alt="" tag. I then generated the package and got the same result. So RoboHelp is automatically displaying the name of the image file.
So I'm guessing it's a default behavior of RoboHelp 8.
Thanks for your help

Hi again
Question for you. What is your output? Where are you seeing the image presented?
* in a compiled CHM file
* in WebHelp
* in FlashHelp
* in AIR Help
And if you are looking at it in a browser, what is the browser type and version?
Cheers... Rick

Hi Rick,
It only happens in web help. I decided to look at the output html file in the folder.
I was able to delete the alt"filename.jpg" and it worked.
When RoboHelp 8 generates a package, it will automatically add alternate text. Leaving it as alt"" has no effect. You have to go into the output folder to make the change.
Thanks for your help
Mike
