when I import footage and drag it to the tl I get this yellow line. After I did some color correction I get a red line. Then I render the tl und, surprise, I get a green line.
Where is the surprise in that? That is how it should work.
I close PP and start it again after a while and... there is the red line again - always. The preview files are there in the right folder. So, what is going wrong here? Any ideas?
Don't press the Skip previews button when asked where the preview files are located, or are you using an external? Then make sure that the drive letter remains the same all the time.

Just kidding ;-)

I don´t get such a message. PP opens up and then the line is red again. Obviously pp can´t find the prview files. I didn´t change any drive letter...
Maybe something got corrupted in your project. Do a save as, open this newly created project, delete the render files, render and save. Does that solve the problem?

No. Maybe it has something to do with the mov- files (mjpeg) from the Panasonic GH2... I don´t know? I worked now for several weeks with that kind of stuff. If I remember right with only the .mts-files from that camera I didn´t had these problems. In this project mts and mov files are mixed...
What MJPEG codec do you have installed? Morgan, Mainconcept? Thos usually work, in contrast to QuiRcktime.
Morgan and QT
I just made a cross-check: Yes, it happens only with the mov-files (mjpeg) of the GH2. With the mts-files of that camera I don´t get these problems. And when I delete the preview-files, then pp is answering for the files, but only then. Without deleting I just get the red line again. So pp seems to know where the preview files are located but can´t work with them... hmmm... pretty weird....
I sent the bug to adobe 8 months ago. They didn´t fix it so far - unbelievable...
