Looks more like a faulty PSU, unless you get POST messages that indicate otherwise.
The switch is a touch sensor - not a regular switch. If I hold my finger on it then it will start up. As soon as I remove my finger it shuts down. So I am thinking that it is the switch. Does that make sense?
If you want you can wire in any button you want really. If you have a physical button on the case that would be more reliable you could switch it to be your power button. I used to have an arcade plunger button mounted into my desk to turn on my computer.
Ok, I finally figured out how to get to the switch. Took it apart... played around with it... put it back together... and it started working.
I would rather have a real switch instead of this fancy touch sensative thing.
Back to work...
