When one authors and burns a DVD, there are a lot of large working files, that are created - larger than the resulting DVD, or Folder, depending on where you are burning. First, are you doing a Burn to Disc, or a Burn to Folder?
Next, can you tell us all about your system, and especially the I/O sub-system, i.e. the HDD's (Hard Disk Drives), with their size, speed, defragmented free space, and how you have them allocated?
For full system details, this ARTICLE will also give you tips on what info would be so very useful.
Also, what is the title of your DVD? Do you have any punctuation character, extended characters, spaces, or is it long?
Thank you for the info, and good luck,
