If you just dragged a separate volume control, you need to give it an instance name and then tell your FLVPlayback instance (whatever its name is) to use it:
e.g. like this:
FLVPlayback instance name is my_FLVPlybk
volbar instance name is my_vBar
my_FLVPlybk.volumeBar = my_vBar;
any idea how to make it work vertical instead of horizontal?
Not easily it appears. It's easy enough to rotate it, and likewise for the drag handle - I just tried it. But there would need to be something to change the way the drag handle moves because although the rest works when rotated, the drag handle movement remains horizontal. Perhaps others know how.
i was afraid that would be the case...
how easy would it be to go into the component and change the x's for y's ?
I took a quick look under the hood. It scared me enough to say not very (at least for me anyways). At first glance (in the UIManager class) it seems that a lot of common functionality is routed through the same method... so I would be concerned with breaking the seekBar etc.
thanks for all the help anyway - i'll post back if we crack it.
