I really need some assistance with this if someone would be
so kind ...
My set up - CF 7.0.2, JRun4 Updater 6, Server 2003 R2, and
Problem - I create either an EAR or WAR file using CF admin.
Create a server instance using CF admin. Open the JRun admin and
deploy the EAR/WAR to the newly created CF instance. Set up IIS to
point to the directory containing the EAR/WAR. Hit
127.0.0.1/<virtual_site_name> and get "You are not authorized
to view this page". I've been checking all the permissions in every
place that I can think of. I start CF with a different account
rather than local so I'm thinking that might be an issue, but don't
know where I'm going wrong. I've been to the end of Google and
back, but can't find any clear step by step directions or even
hints for all of the settings in CF admin for creating an EAR/WAR.
Can someone please help me out with this?
Thank you for your time.

I am new to ColdFusion and have been trying to learn much

* You mentioned that you're hitting
127.0.0.1/<virtual_site_name>, but it seems
to me that you should have been using host headers instead?
are configured in IIS Admin.
* You did not mention how you tried to get IIS to communicate
with the new
instance. Meaning, even though you setup IIS to point to the
you did not mention how you specified with IIS to use the
