Hi. I've been looking everywhere but I can't find the solution to this problem. I made a custom cursor and I want the hotspot not to be in the upper left part of the movie clip but in the place of the movie clip that I choose. So, how do you change the hot spot of a custom cursor? I'm using Flash CS4 AS3.
I can't believe no one asked this before.
It's not really clear what you mean by hotspot, but if you are talking about the registration points, it is discussed fairly often. Just open the cursor symbol for editing and move the contents so that the registration is where you choose.
Thanks Ned! That's what I was looking for, it just seems i was using a wrong terminology. Does the registration point has to be outside the movie clip rectangle? Because if I put it inside of it, the cursor doesnt work.
I'm not sure what you mean by "movieclip rectangle"... the registration is always within the movieclip, regardless of where you place the contents that live in it.
