I have several 3D text layers, all set to Continous rasterization in a pre-comp.
In the main comp I have 3 layers:
A null object (3D, Motion Blur, Cont. Rast.)
A camera object, set with Null Object as its parent (3D, Motion Blur, Cont. Rast)
The Pre-Comp (3D, Motion Blur, Cont. Rast.)
However when i use the camera to zoom in on text it does not rasterize but rather blurs out as the object gets closer to the camera. I've had this working before, I'm just not sure why it isn't working now.
You have enabled DOF on the camera? You are using OpenGL and due to some issue with your graphics card/ the driver it is not refreshing the buffer and just scaling the one it has in memory? Sounds like one of the two. Otehr than that look for effects in teh comps/ pre-comps that might casue flattening, including adjustment layers and such...
