I've created this simple birthday game where the concept is to blowout 30 candles in 15 seconds. The candles are movieclips so that when they are clicked on, they blowout. However, when the option to "try again" begins, the candles are still out.
So, how do you reset multiple movieclips?
if frame 1 of your candle movieclip is the lit candle, apply a gotoAndStop(1) to each candle instance.
I'm not following... where would I placegotoAndStop (1)?
probably in a tryagain handler:
tl["candle"+i].gotoAndStop(1); // assuming your candle instance names are candle1, candle2 etc
