At the left hand end of the timeline... you can drag the track
vertically down to enlarge it.
You need to use the little triangle to toggle it first.
I am certain this is explained better in the manual / help file.

Don't feel bad. Hitting the "hot point" to allow for vertical expansion can be tricky on a high-rez monitor. It is a bit of a "pixel hunt," but when you run the cursor slowly over the boundary of the Track Headers, just watch for the little = sign, with up/down arrows. Colin calls it a "sandwich" with arrows. After you've hit the hot point a few times, you'll go right to it.
after finding the vertical zoom, things have progressed great and i'm nearly finished!!!
even though i'm new to PPro and probably only use 10% of its power, its such a great tool!!!!
Next time that you go on that pixel hunt, you will get that hot point more quickly.
Craig filled in a detail, that I often forget to mention, the twirling open of the Track (little triangle) first, otherwise you cannot expand, hot point, or not. He's just sharper, than I am.
