I am a scripting newbie, but I can't find the answer to this for the life of me...here's we go:
In JS, I have created a photoshop doc that opens an image and renames the background layer to that of the image. I now need to open a second image on a second layer within the same doc.
That's pretty much it. I can't find anything that tells me or points me in the right direction to figure this out. I may be too frustrated or too much of a noob to get it, too. If anyone out there can help me on this, I would be very grateful.
You can either open the other image and copy it over to the first document using layer.duplicate() or you can use scriptlistener to create a Place function that will allow you to script the menu item File-Place.
