    Avid MC5 to Premiere CS5

    Boo5314

The documentation says that this should be easy.  Has anyone actually tried it?

Here are the specifics.  A low budget film was shot on Canon DSLR 1080.  The raw footage is a little less than a terrabyte.  If a mirror image of the footage is put on a new drive and that drive is used to edit parts of the film with MC5 using Avid's AMA, which presumably would use the footage directly without transcoding, altering or renaming.  Can the sequence then be exported from Avid and then imported into Premiere?  Most importantly will the footage on the original drive link correctly to imported sequence?  Thanks.
