Chris W. Griffith Jan 26, 2011 9:54 AM (in response to YTCollege)Use the Interactions panel to add a Go To Url interaction to the component. Then add your url like this:
http://www.example.com/myfile.pdf#page=4
I have tested this using Flash Catalyst 'Panini'

AdeptDigital Feb 3, 2011 7:00 AM (in response to YTCollege)How about the other way around? I have a client who wants to link from a PDF to a certain page in a Flash Catalyst Document. I read something about deep linking but do not completely understand the workflow from Catalyst to Builder and more importantly how then to deploy the file to the internet with the expanded functionality. If there is a tutorial out there that can point me in the right direction please let me know.
Thanks,
Brett

Chris W. Griffith Feb 3, 2011 8:11 AM (in response to AdeptDigital)Yes that workflow is possible. But you are going to have import your Flash Catalyst project into Flash Builder and then add the various classes and code in your project. You will need some level of ActionScript development experience to properly add this functionality.
The best starting point would be this help document:
