Sorry, I cannot quite understand what you write...
When you write "another extension", is that some kind of ZIP file, which extracts the PDF after entering the password?
If so, where is it extracted to?
Finally, what is the file association for .PDF ? (Start | Run | type
cmd... in the Command Prompt window type
assoc .PDF... what is the response?)
The extension is .DSF.PDF but its an extension made from the DVD maker, and i can see that trought browsing the files in the DVD, but i can open it only from the automatic menu that is on that DVD and only after entering the password, so ITS NOT a zip file or anything else that you could mistake...
when i do that CMD command it shows:
Noone knows how to solve this or how to proceed now?
Could you let me know what is the behavior when you double click any simple .PDF file on your system (apart from the ones on the CD). Does it try opening the PDF with WORD or does it try opening it with Adobe Reader.
With every other normal .PDF file i open (directly
from the internet, from an external HD, from the desktop or anywhere else)
it does open directly with Adobe Acrobat Reader without problems, its just from that CD that
it does direcly opens up Microsoft Word and asks me wich codification to use...
