    creationComplete

      embarrassment;
      I have 2 data grids in mxml components that I have that are added to the main application.
      I am trying to get them both to be referenced in the <mx:application tag.
      Here is my code.
      ------------------------------------
      <mx:Application xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute"
      backgroundGradientColors="[#999966, #ffffff]" xmlns:ns1="components.*"
      creationComplete="resume2.mySkills.send(); resumeEducation.myClasses.send()"
      viewSourceURL="srcview/index.html">
      -----------------------------------
      This is obviously incorrect but I'm not sure of the syntax.
      Here is the error I get from the line.
      -----------------------------------
      1119: Access of possibly undefined property myClasses through a reference with static type Class.

      Any suggestions???

      Thanks in advance.

          What RPC protocol are you using for the data service calls? Show how you are declaring that.

            The problem Is with confusion of being new to this is this.
            I have a main.mxml application.
            I have 2 separate components.mxml files. Each of these files contain a datagrid with different data from separate xml data files stored in a data directory in the application.

            My problem is hot to get them to render data. Do I write a private function in the main.mxml to render the data for a creation complete or what?

            Sorry in advance but I’m still learning.
            Thanks,
