So you have Installed it. Now go back to my post#5 to you and follow all procedures to Uninstall and use this Installer which is for the latest version 10.1.102.64 instead of the one you just used. Everything else is the same.

http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

Use the one for Windows/Internet Explorer and use the EXE Installer.

Hope this works for you.

Thanks,

Hi, did you read this thread and check if your Registry key has that Kill-bit? Please do that first.

Hi, When you had that Virus, was it removed by your Anti-Virus program? If so I would download and Save to your Desktop the Flash Player Uninstaller:

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Then I would download and Install the Flash Player version 9 under Solutions heading at this site:

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/190/tn_19091.html

Once you have those on your Desktop, then Close All browser windows, you only want to be looking at your Desktop.

Be sure to use the Administrator Account for this Uninstall/Install.

If you use any instant messenger services as yahoo, msn, aol or any others disable them in the system tray(area near the clock)

Run the Uninstaller and then Reboot(restart) your computer.

Run the Installer and Reboot.

You can check your browser here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/  You should see the Flash logo animate(spin) and the version of Flash Player will be displayed.

Let me know.

Thanks,

eidnolb

Hi, don't copy the link from email. Copy it here from this post:

Try that, it worked for me.

Hi, Good for you!! I know the feeling and other users have also.

Thanks for cooperating and marking your thread as answered

Regards,

eidnolb

P.S. Keep your Anti-Virus program up to date, this virus is very active right now. Game sites are one place to pick it up and also don't click on anything that tells you that you have a virus. Run your own Anti-Virus instead!!
