Many people told me that 24GB RAM is good, but no one told me what other parts to buy,If anyone knows please help me
Just for PS and AE you won't need much more. To some degree harddrive speed and capacity for placing caches and temporary data will matter, so you should get 2 or 3 drives, assuming we're talking Mac Pro and not iMac. Graphics won't matter much. Choice is limited anyway and neither AE nor PS are particulalrly dependent on OpenGL...
You can't afford a Mac Pro with US$2700. So your best option would be a 27" iMac, max out the RAM.
iMac with full Ram would be better than a Windows Machine with different parts
Still speaking for 2700$
Hello again,an iMac 27-inch with these systems is good for AAE CS5?
2.93GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
1TB Serial ATA Drive

It will work fine with After Effects. But you can get much better specifications in a true desktop machine.
If you plan to do very complex or high resolution work, save some more money and buy a better system.
I usually work with 3D Invigorator,Optical Flares and some other heavy plugins,I hope it works with this machine
And something more,Would it be able to play new games? Like CoD 7,Battlefield...?
You should have included those items when you started the thread.
Forget the iMac.
This is the AE forum, go to gaming forums to find out if you can also feed your gaming jones with an iMac. I'm guessing the answer is no, Apple just doesn't care about gamers.
Thanks for your answer,But you could tell me it for kindly!
