Reader cannot save any files to pdf. You need Acrobat to do that. If you have Acrobat, please repost to the Acrobat Windows forum.
Visio 2010 itself can save to .pdf, there's an option for it right in the save menu. My problem is that reader doesn't show any of the layers that exist in the Visio document after it's saved to .pdf. Is there something else I need to do to make the layers show up?
Adobe Reader provides some limit "layers" functionality.
More is possible with Acrobat.
With Adobe Reader 8 or 9 -
View > Navigation Panels > Layers
At the top of the Layers pane there is a drop-down options menu available (click the caret symbol).
For Adobe Reader X -
Try View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panels > Layers
Yes, I can get the layers panel to come up but the layers I created in Visio aren't showing up. I'm just trying to find out if there is a way I can get them to show up in Adobe Reader without using Acrobat. Thanks.
