I don't know if this topic has been discussed or not, if so please let me know where.
Anyhow, I have a few buttons (six of them) to scroll from left to right non-stop via looping. Those buttons are in the up state. What I want to achieve is that when someone hovers over one of the buttons, the entire scrolling temporarily stops and perhaps the hovered button becomes larger as well. I'm sure you've seen something similar on ebay listings before shown as slideshows.
Any ideas how to go about it, hopefully with few or little AS coding? Right now, my Over buttons are managed via movie clips, but not the Up state buttons.
If you are not currently using AS for this, then I conclude that you just have some form of timeline animation. If that is the case, then have your hovering function(s) command a stop(); for the timeline that animates them (and a play(); when rollout occurs).
Makes sense Ned, but my Over button is playing in an external movie clip. Or, maybe it doesn't matter? Anyhow, I'll try.
