Have you read the following article about using FlexUnit in FlashBuilder?
I like to run individual test cases in FlashBuilder. And with Ant, I like to run all test cases. But I am not sure if you have this option with the Standard version. Looking at this chart (click on the Version comparison tab) that version doesn't have "FlexUnit support". If only the Premium version has FlexUnit support within the IDE, then I would say its worth the upgrade. However the reason why I choose Premium over Standard was for the Network monitor. Sadly, I never got the Network Monitor to work (see here). If Network Monitor is the only option needed to upgrade, then I would recommend using a third party HTTP monitor.
Update: Although $500 is a lot to upgrade. I would look into perhaps using Ant to run your test cases if your IDE doesn't support it. See if you can work efficiently in that environment. If its cumbersome, then perhaps at that point in time you can justify spending $500 for the upgrade.
I feel cheated and betrayed, so paying them again is out of the question. If there's any workaround please share it.
I found this so far and will keep on investigating and post here when I get it working:
I feel sorry for the your network monitor, but I could also not expect anything else from Adobe. Web Premium without FB Premium, geez,..... If they would bundle the standard version of say Audition, I could understand. But FB is supposed to deliver content to the, well, WEB!
Ok, got it done. Follow the great instructions on the previous link, and then also this one:
It should take you about 15 minutes to get everything up and running.
Adobe, why don't you sell Premiere Express in Production bundle? Why do video editors get pro tools in their bundle and web developers not? Disgusting.
