I just found a new plug-in called Plural Eyes:
Yep .. it's another thing to buy ... but for similar problems that we both have it may be a worthwhile solution.
I have to sync my clips manually ... for now.
Ha, you know what's funny (or not) is that I keep getting e-mails from them about this. I think Adobe shared my e-mail address with 3rd parties (probably because I let them). I can't get them to stop.
Looks like an OK product, but I'd rather harness the tons of metadata that P2 offers.
It's one of the things I miss from FCP... which can pop clips on a sequence at the timecode offsets with ease.
For someone I thought I did this before in PPro. Guess I was dreaming.
The best is a Tutorial I saw on Creative Cow.
It said to use Audio peaks in the timeline to set clip markers .. then synchronize.
The problem is that you cannot zoom in the window enough into the waveform to get a accurate placing of a marker.
I was surprised to find no way to improve this .. since it was a good idea.
I thought it was in this guys list:
But I'm not so sure .. I did a quick look and didnt see it
It was surely at Creative Cow though ...
