    [JS] and Applescript, with Dropbox

      I dont know if anyone is interested in this, but you can use Dropbox's public folder to store scripts, and then allow a small script stub to run this remotely.

      This lets you make any changes to distributed scripts without installing libraries, or putting files on any clients local server.

      Obviously the user needs to be connected to the internet, and there is no security in this as the .txt file being targeted is easily opened if you wish, but compiling the below as a Javascript binary will hide that.

      Feel free to give this a go and let me know what happens!

      myScript = "do shell script \"curl http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1942401/addGuides.txt\"";
      myJS = app.doScript(myScript,ScriptLanguage.APPLESCRIPT_LANGUAGE);

      I am keen to get feedback.
