Thanks for the reply, I'll try that. However I think it's calculateDropIndex() , I'm not finding lastDropIndex available for the tree.
I'll give it a try but I don't see how index helps since it doesnt actually give me the object. There is no real way to grab the data from the dataprovider with the index that this gives me.

If you are subclassing Tree (which you should be doing), then you'd have
access to protected vars and I think there is a way to get from the index to
OK, I'll try subclassing Tree. I figured out how to grab the data this way on dragDrop in the meantime. Not sure if it's a good way to go or not.
