Suppressing RSS Feeds in locally installed AIRHelp

I'm experimenting with locally installed AIRHelp for a new project and am running into an issue with clients that restrict Internet access. My test project has the ability to add RSS Feeds (via the icon in the Favorites multi-tab accordian). Is there any way to remove this from the output? I've searched the forums and am not seeing any positive signs about restricting or removing this.

Update - I just noticed that clever users can also access the Internet via the Add Links function (by changing out the local path for an http:// one) - any way to restrict/lock down this field too?

Sorry - forgot the vital info - TCS3 (RH9.0.0.228) on an XP Pro SP3 machine

If you restrict internet access, they won't be able to get updates, which is one of the main selling points.

Sounds like you need to turn off Add Resources in the settings when you generate. I think that does it.

Not only that, but they will get an error message when AIRHelp looks for updates.

Auto update can also be disabled when you create the AIR file so that the help does not look for an update.

Hi Peter,

I had checked your pages when I got started playing around with this project (thanks for the CSH tips). I don't have the Add Resources selected - it still gives you the RSS icon. Maybe I need to enable it, but not put anything in the list. I'll give that a try & report back.

Nope, that didn't seem to have any impact at all. I also tried tinkering with the LNG file settings (File > Project Settings > Language field, Advanced button, LNG tab) to see if I could make anything disappear - that didn't have much effect either.
