I've seen the description of the Packager for iPhone (http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/packagerforiphone/).
The need I have is to build a rather simple (primarily information providing, but also animated) web-site, that is also accessible to iPhone users. I.e. be able to give a domain name that everyone can see on their device, even if it is an iPhone. Perhaps it is possible for iPhone users to get redirected to an iPhone application, from a web-site?
I'm way low on understanding here, so comments are appreciated.
It's not possible to "re-direct" to an iPhone application. Imagine the chaos if you could.
Answering your questions:
- You can use the "Package for iPhone" to deliver your FLASH AS3 projects to iOS. But that will provide you with a native iPhone application not a web app.
- You cannot have access to a Flex application from iPhone. That's because iPhone doesn't offer support to Flash Player.
- And not, iPhone users cannot be redirected to a iPhone application from a website.
Hope it helps you!
Pablo and Pauland, thanks for both of your replies.
