How to scan barcode using flex?

We are developing a mobile app.

Our requrement is to scan barcode using mobile camera.

Any one can give me idea how to do it?

Do I need to connect to any third party app? If so How.

Or flex have capabilites to read barcode?

I have seen this example using web cam

I am not sure that will it work in mobile app?
